Featured on Channel 9’s Open Homes Australia, the ‘Soleil’ villa in Palm Beach, Queensland is a stunning collaboration between multi-award winning Jayson Pate Design and Mactech Constructions.
The Soleil seamlessly combines two lavish villas, each featuring four equally luxurious bedrooms, generous parking, a gym, wine cellar, and state-of-the-art appliances. Taking extravagance to a whole new level, this construction pushed the boundaries of design and innovation to deliver the ultimate in luxury living.
Enhancing Design with NewTechWood’s Realistic Composite Screening
Gracing the stunning façade, entrance hall and garage entrance is NewTechWood’s UH55 Hollow Decorative Screen board in Ipe.
“NewTechWood’s decorative screening was the realest looking composite I have come across and it suited our application perfectly. We were doing 4 levels of timber batten, so we didn’t want to have the maintenance that comes with real timber and the ongoing costs. It was also great to work with. We are very happy with the product and result.” said Nick McDonald, Director of Mactech Constructions.
In addition to all these incredible benefits, the screening’s low-maintenance design, combined with its ability to withstand the harsh Australian climate, also made it especially well-suited for coastal environments.
Elegance Redefined by Thoughtful Design and Natural Elements
When you are able to tear your eyes away from the overall magnificence of the building’s exterior, you can then appreciate the exquisite attention to detail within the internal design.
The bathroom was awarded the HIA Gold Coast/Northern Rivers Bathroom of the Year, and it’s easy to see why. With its luxurious marbled double vanity, travertine flooring, striking featured walls in the shower, smart hidden storage solutions, frosted glass, and hidden power points, it evokes the feel of a high-end spa resort.
The gourmet kitchen and living areas incorporate the same use of a calm and perfect beachside colour palette. The combined space increases your sense of being part of something natural with its timber battens, use of natural stone and marble for vanities and bench tops, plus the inclusion of lush green planters throughout.
On the rooftop is another little slice of heaven, with a swimming pool enjoying an expansive ocean vista and a glass bottom view which carries down through the balconies with glassed floor sections to ground level.
