NIVO Pedestals

Transform Your Outdoor Area With NIVO Decking Pedestals

Adjustable Raised Decking Pedestals

Transform your outdoor area with NIVO decking pedestals. Used alongside NewTechWood StructurAL® aluminium joists, or traditional timber joists if preferred, the pedestals elevate your new decking overtop of existing solid surfaces. Available in two ranges – deck pedestals and tile pedestals, you can easily install your new composite deck atop outdoor tiles, concrete, outdated decking, pavers, and steel grating.

Installation of NIVO pedestals on a wooden deck, featuring essential components and construction tools for elevated decking projects.

The easily adjustable pedestals offer an innovative concept for architects and builders when designing and constructing raised platform flooring. The concept is very simple; the pedestals are height adjustable through a rotating screw system. Simply turn them until you reach the desired height.

The quality of the material used guarantees weather and UV radiation resistance, remarkable stability, and the strength to withstand a maximum weight of 1000kg.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you need to have a pedestal placed directly underneath when using a joist connector?

No, you don’t need to have a pedestal directly underneath a join when using the joist connector, as long as you’re adhering to the maximum span table for the pedestals, it can hang in the space in-between unsupported and be structurally sound.

Your corner pedestal should be placed as close to the corner as possible, without the pedestal base disc protruding outside of the footprint of the deck.

You only require two angle brackets per bridge. We suggest off-setting them to fit one on each end, and one on each side of the bridge, to give symmetrical support.

There is no specific measurement. This is for the installer to decide what is required to hold the joists straight and true and thus create the desired square space for applying to the deck. We would suggest using one bridge every 3000mm.
