Tabak Projects’ Decking Tale with a Twist

Recently, our NSW team happened upon a special project in Wollongong, NSW and took the opportunity for a site visit to Calderwood, Wollongong to the job site of bespoke builder Tabak Projects.
No ordinary build; this was the builder’s own home. Big River Kiama had supplied NewTechWood’s UH61 Castellation cladding in Ipe for this project, and our team were keen to see the results, little realising the impact the timing of their visit would have.
On arrival at the job site, they found the carpenter framing up the deck and planning on installing a different brand of composite decking. They left a bag of NewTechWood samples for the carpenter, who then passed them on to the builder after they left.
After seeing the samples, however, the builder put his existing composite order on hold while investigating the interesting new NewTechWood composite product that had caught his eye.
As a result, the builder chose NewTechWood’s rustic Coastal Range in the beautiful shade of Aged Wood for his new deck.
The outcome speaks for itself. The results look amazing… the real timber look of the castellation cladding and the rustic styling of the Coastal decking provide a marriage of architectural good taste with visual splendour.
